All patients are required to have a full consultation and complete a medical questionaire prior to treatment and, with their consent before and after photographs are taken.  Patient information is treated with the strictest of confidence.
 
Treatment required will be agreed between the patient and practitioner.  Depending on correction and concerns of the patient, treatment may be BOTOX only, Dermal Filler only or a combination of both.
 
 
 
 
BOTULINUM TOXIN
 
 
Botulinum toxin or BOTOX is a medicine produced by the bacterium that very rarely causes food poisoning. BOTOX is NOT alive but is a protein, which weakens and inactivates muscles. BOTOX is a potent toxin that blocks neuromuscular transmission in the area into which it is injected.  In other words, it can stop messages being sent from the nerve to a muscle or sweat gland and therfore it can stop the muscle or gland from performing tasks.  This is just another example where 'natural' products are being used for medicinal purposes.  Other examples include a fungi producing penicillin, cowpox virus protecting against smallpox, and the foxglove plant producing the 'poison' digitalis which millions of patients take daily for heart disease. 
 
BOTOX is an aesthetic non-surgical treament for those who want a rejuvenated and yet natural look.  A firm favorite of celebrities. This procedure helps to reduce fine lines and wrinkles for correction mainly on the forehead and for crows feet.
